25% Bursary Offer

In an attempt to make a contribution to university education in its area of influence, the Management of Rwenzori International University has decided to give a 25% discount on tuition fees for the duration of the course, i e, until the student completes the degree, to 2 students (except where it is indicated otherwise), from each of the following entities: 

1. SDA Church Districts in Rwenzori Field
2. SDA Church Districts in Mid-Western Uganda Mission
3. SDA Church Districts in South-western Uganda Field
4. South Rwenzori Diocese Parishes
5. Kasese Catholic Diocese Parishes
6. Kasese Muslim Counties
7. Kasese District Local Government Sub-counties and Town Councils
8. Bunyangabu District Local Government Sub-counties and Town Councils
9. Kabarole District Local Government Sub-counties and Town Councils
10. Lubirizi District Local Government Sub-counties and Town Councils
11. Ntoroko District Local Government Sub-counties and Town Councils
12. Kasese Municipality Divisions
13. Obudingiya Bwa Bwamba, 8 slots
14. Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu, 4 slots for each Chieftainship (Obwisemalhambo)

CRITERIA. A person must be:

1.  Selected by the official of the entity named above
2. Admissible for any of the degree courses offered at the University
3. Well behaved

CONDITIONS. The recipient must:

1. Be able to pay 75% of the tuition fee plus functional fees
2. Maintain an average grade of B
3. Maintain good behavior
4. The recipient can only benefit from one category
5. Complete the degree course within the stipulated time

EFFECTIVE DATE. This Bursary arrangement takes effect from February 1, 2023.
